Within Bukhara
Short visits to the old city’s libraries, workshops and monuments, most often on foot, timed around a single lesson or a single day.
Trips are part of how Farobiy teaches, not a reward for finishing the syllabus. This page sets out what a trip is for, how it is staffed, and what parents can expect to be told and asked before their child goes.
A visit to a workshop in the old city, a site connected to what a class is studying, or a journey further afield as students get older, is planned for what it teaches, not simply for the day out. Staff plan the learning purpose of a trip before they plan the transport.
Every trip is staffed, supervised and communicated to parents the way a lesson is planned: with a clear purpose, a named person responsible, and a record of exactly who is going where.
A trip is a lesson with a different room, not a day off from one.
Each trip below is described by the staff leading it, on the trip’s own record. A trip comes off this page the day after it ends.

Every trip is chosen for what it teaches. How far it travels depends on the age of the group and what the curriculum needs that term.

Journeys beyond Bukhara for older students, connected to a specific subject or project, planned well ahead and confirmed with parents in writing.
As students reach the upper stages, journeys beyond Uzbekistan become part of the offer, planned furthest ahead and confirmed only once every consent and supervision requirement is settled.
Every trip travels with staffing set for the age of the group and the nature of the journey, led by a named member of staff responsible for the group from departure to return. No trip runs until that person is confirmed.
Parents receive the purpose of the trip, the date, the supervision arrangements and what to prepare, in writing, before consent is asked for. No child takes part in a trip beyond the school day without a parent’s signed consent on file.
Some journeys are included in the standard school year; others, especially trips abroad, carry an additional cost that is set and published per trip, with enough notice for a family to plan. No trip is announced without its cost attached.
Questions about a specific trip are answered by the school directly; general questions about how trips work are answered here.
