News

The newsroom opens with the school year.

This is where decisions, classroom work and stories from the city will be published as they happen, in Uzbek, Russian and English.

The newsroom at work
How the newsroom works

Three strands, published as they happen.

The newsroom exists to keep families and the wider public genuinely informed, not to collect updates into an occasional newsletter. Each strand below publishes independently, as soon as there is something worth saying.

Every article appears in Uzbek, Russian and English, so no reader is served a translated summary of a fuller original.

What the newsroom carries

Three strands, three audiences.

Each strand already has its place on this page. What follows is what it will carry once the school year is under way.

From the school

Decisions, appointments and the practical announcements families need, published as they are made rather than collected into a newsletter.

Farobiy International School

From the classrooms

In preparation
Bukhara old city
Farobiy International School

From the city

Bukhara as a teaching resource, and the visits, partnerships and public events that connect the school to the place it belongs to.
